Cogo x Money20/20 – raising the bar in circular stand design

What if we design an urban garden instead of a traditional exhibition stand?

Cogo, a carbon footprint management fintech, showcases a sustainable stand at Money20/20 in Amsterdam, emphasising innovative climate-conscious approaches to stand design.

Inspired by urban garden architecture, the stand offers a calming space for reflection within a dynamic environment. The design, created in collaboration with Space&Matter and Fiction Factory, uses only locally sourced, recycled, and reclaimed materials, such as lamps from recycled construction waste.

The wall panelling, designed by We Are Mast, was previously exhibited at Dutch and Milan Design Week and was part of the highly acclaimed No Space For Waste exhibition.

The design takes cues from nature, featuring a soundscape of endangered Aotearoa (NZ) birds, as an urgent reminder to the finance industry at Money20/20 that swift action at scale is needed.

After the event, components were reintegrated into the supply chain. The carbon emissions of the stand (including transport, build, travel and accommodation) and the circularity score were measured using TRACE by Isla

Total Carbon Emissions
1.06 t CO2e

Circularity Score
88.4%
